The wilderness area Travný Stream is located in underedge part of Travný Massif (1203 m) in southern part of dished end of Travný Stream spring area. In altitude 800-1040m in land register Morávka, district of Frýdek-Místek, The Protected Landscape Area (CHKO) Beskydy.

Total area is 18,6797 hectares, protected area 23.80 hectares.
The motive of protection: The mission of the reservation is protection of mixed forest growth in central positions of Beskydy with natural woody plants composition (beechwood with maple sycamore, fir and spruce) and structure on sharp slope at the end of Travný Stream, with occurrence of endangered kinds of plants and animals.
